When you make an online purchase from our collection, your data is stored through the Shopify application, and through Shopify’s data storage and databases, which operate on a secure server protected by a firewall.
Information collected during Shopify transactions
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify temporarily stores your credit card data, enacting data encryption through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
Shopify stores your transaction data only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase, after which it is deleted.
All direct payment gateways accepted by Shopify adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a body founded by American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard and Visa Inc.
For further information, see Shopify’s Terms of Service and Privacy Statement.
